Flamenco, characterised by fire, passion, dramatic dance and distinctive guitar is an art form unlimited and magnificent. In the south of Spain, heartland of flamenco, Carlos Muñoz and Antonio Carmona formed Los Carmonas in the 1950's.

Adriana Rodriguez

Adriana Rodriguez is Director and Teacher of Los Carmonas Dance Academy, specialising in Flamenco and traditionalSpanish Dance. Her training began in Australia at the age of 6 and later furthered her studies with some of Spain’s famous and admired Flamenco masters. Starring in the film “Mission Impossible II was one of many notable performances before dedicating her life to teaching. 

With over 20 years experience in teaching Adriana has a particular aptitude for children, her most recent work was with the Sydney Opera House in the much acclaimed “Babies Proms” Children’s Shows.

Creative in capturing the essence of Flamenco and imparting its passion and discipline to students of all ages, Adriana is a teacher and performer of great value committed to developing students and their learning experience as a foundation for life.
